How We Use Your Data
If you register for a BADBIR clinician database account, we hold certain information about you so that we can run the study effectively and in accordance with research governance and Good Clinical Practice. This includes your name, job title, and a copy of your CV, which is stored in the electronic site file for each centre you are registered with.
Only members of the BADBIR team at the University of Manchester and members of your BADBIR site research team have access to this information. We do not share this information outside of our team.
Your name is stored against any patient records that you add or update. We also record each time your account logs in for security, monitoring and audit purposes.
How We Contact You
We will contact you via email with important study updates, including the monthly centre report summarising your centre’s recruitment, follow-up activity and data completeness.
We may also contact you to resolve missing data queries or where more information is needed to investigate an issue you have reported.
If you have opted in to hear about additional research opportunities, we may also email you about these.
Further information can be found on our main website: How We Use Your Data (Clinicians) .
