How we use your data
If you register for a database account with us, we hold certain information about you in order to run the study effectively, and in accordance with research governance and Good Clinical Practice. This includes your name, job title and a copy of your CV, which is stored in the electronic site file for each centre you are registered with.
Only members of the BADBIR team at the University of Manchester, and members of your BADBIR site research team have access to this information. We don't share this outside of our team.
Your name is stored against any patient records that you add or update, and we store a record of when your database account logs in, for data security and monitoring purposes.
How we contact you
We will contact you via email with important study updates, including the monthly centre report which gives you a snapshot of your centre's recruitment, follow-up and data quality. We may also contact you on an ad hoc basis to assist with missing data queries regarding your patients, or if we notice you've experienced an issue on the system and we'd like to gather a little more information to fix it.
If you have opted in to hear about other research opportunities, we may contact you about these via email also.
More information can be found on our main website here.
